About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman with a minimum of 5 years of experience in preparing comprehensive construction documents for small to mid-sized commercial, medical, industrial, and hospitality projects. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a collaborative environment and is confident working alongside lead architects to bring design concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed construction documents from schematic design through to permit and construction phases
Create and manage accurate Revit models for a variety of project types
Coordinate with lead architects to ensure design intent is fully realized in documentation
Collaborate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and technical issues
Maintain compliance with local building codes, ADA standards, and jurisdictional requirements
Assist in preparing documentation for plan check submittals and revisions
Support project teams with redlines, markups, and revisions as needed
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of professional drafting experience in commercial architecture
Proficiency in Revit is required; AutoCAD and other design tools are a plus
Strong understanding of construction detailing, building systems, and documentation standards
Familiarity with Los Angeles County building codes and permitting processes
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Commerical Architecture, Drafting, or related field experience preferred
